| Why do people always say "rest in peace, R.I.P." etc...? I mean, yeah, it's just habit and it's just "what you say" when speaking of the recently deceased, but is it like they are going to...rest in turmoil? Rest in war? Rest in anxiousness? I mean, do people really think that if they speak ill of the dead, they will rise from their graves and stagger towards them in a ravenous zombie-like state? Because that would be awesome. |

| I def think the possibility of it being a suicide is really good. After her son died she appeared to be devastated, as I think any mother or parent would be. Along the money issue, she did win that case against her former husband's son for about 600 million I think? Not to sure on actual amount. But she is still owed that money, hopefully it will go to her child in an account not being able to be touched by whoever they elect the guardian. Wouldn't be interesting if her lawyer killed her and her son? But still sad to see someone take their life. RIP. I say rest in peace b/c some peopel have lived horrible lives, or have had a hard time and the rest in peace is to be repectfull and hoping they will have peace that they didn't have in life. Its just something respectfull to say. Im sure if your parents died you wouldn't say have a nice dirt nap while your ing body is eaten out by worms, would you? |

this is just stupid, wishing this on any child is insane, yea maybe she probably wasnt a typical soccer mum but ffs :whip: having a mother die is the worst thing to happen to a 5 month old baby who will never get a real chance to know her mum.
What we seen of anna nicole's life was portrayed through that stupid reality tv show she had. Now look at all the other reality shows do you really believe they are the "real" person or are they manipulated into tv worthy so they get the ratings and the networks get the cash.
Besides all that there was already a legal battle over who the father was, now its going to become a tug of war to gain rights to this 5 month old baby. If im not mistaken either anna nicole had nothing to do with her family anyway... so yea its really going to have a half decent life now :rolleyes: |

It doesn't get more news worthy than the death of someone as famous as she was.:p |

Famous for what, though? Being sought after by nearly everybody with a penis? Yeah, what a spectacular contribution to society. If she contributed something I'd feel a bit of remorse, but in this case I don't. |

Why in s name would you feel remorse in the first place?
, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people die every day who were more worthwhile than this semen sponge, and I'm not remorseful over their deaths. It's a pretty limited number of people who I'd actually mourn.
It is, however, worth a laugh to many - and that my friends, is why this will remain in the news for many days - Because her entire life was nothing more than punchline.

I honestly don't know jack about her ... but I do know her name!
You can't expect the media to only report the deaths of major contributors to society!
The media reports according to the fame and importance of a story
btw I think there's a guest on Larry King right now that has something to do with anna nicole smith(?! I don't know ... I fell asleep on the couch and went to shut the idiot box off and saw more chit chat about her and it happened to be on Larry King ) |

He sued Smith in Oct 2006, shortly after the baby was born.
Smith said Mr Stern, who is also her lawyer, was the father of the child.
A former topless dancer, Smith modelled for Guess Jeans and Playboy before marrying Marshall.
She also appeared in films including one of the Naked Gun movies.
She had her own reality TV show, The Anna Nicole Smith show, from 2002 to 2004.
Smith was born Vicki Lynn Hogan in Mexia, Texas, on 28 Nov 1967. |
