Westies are people from the western suburbs of Sydney like Blacktown, Parramatta, Penrith etc, which where populated mostly by people in lower-working class or dole-bludger class. They're basically bogans, they're also more or less extinct as their habitats have been marginalised by rich folk fleeing the inner city and buying up the property and their culture being eaten away by the next generations 'Homies' (Homeboys/Homegirls) which replaced their music with american rap, R&B and their clothing from the flannelette shirts and jeans with name brand tracksuits.
Come to think of it, I don't really remember the archetypical westie or seen any running around in their ugg boots/thongs, black heavy metal tshirt, mullet haircuts and flanno.
Then again, I never really had anything to do much with anyone out in the western suburbs... that and I'm an imported, they don't like us much and there's only so many pom jokes I'll put up with. :D

why aren't you at the SCG, streaking so we can see you!

I can't think of anything much less embarrassing really, don't like cricket that much, its raining and kind of cold. Besides, you have internet, computer and there's probably a ton of girls on it with their surname ending in .mpg who look better naked than I do.
Ian
don't be so down on yourself :) but seriously like, it'd be fun to say "omg i know that girl who's running around!"

but aye, bloody rain. what is it with your weather this year.
Lilith
It's not me, Calla gave me a 6.5/10... dirty little peasant :(
(But that's ok, I think I'm at least an 8 and I can terrorise him by calling him Kojack if need be... :haha: especially if he doesn't follow the diet I sent him!)

Elnino weather, it happens. edit- heck it's bucketing down!

Looks like its gonna head this way on Tuesday (the cricket, not the weather - which has been absolutely perfect the last week)
I work maybe 200 metres or so from Adelaide Oval, maybe I can sneak away without anyone noticing

We call them bogans. Bevan is just a Qld thing I think

I don't think they need your help, they're managing to suck quite well on their own.

oh c'mon :p

and some good journalism

10.1 Plunkett to Hodge, FOUR, short and Hodge stands tall once again to ping that through midwicket. Carbon-copy of his previous boundary!
10.2 Plunkett to Hodge, no run, pitch it up he did, and a big appeal! Very adjacent, but a big inside-edge. Better bowling though
That moral of that story is "pitch it up!"
10.3 Plunkett to Hodge, FOUR, wonderful shot. Over-pitched this time, and that's clobbered through the covers. Good counterattack
10.4 Plunkett to Hodge, FOUR, runs are leaking everywhere now! Too full again, and angled onto the pads. That's a classy shot that fizzes through midwicket
The moral of that story is "don't pitch it up quite that much ...!"

Bleh, I stopped watching it over an hour ago as I had to run around in the rain, drop into work so everyone gets paid and get back in time for The Bourne Supremacy on telly which is far more interesting.

...and get more beer

20.6 Collingwood to Watson, OUT, Oh my word. That is a brilliant catch. It was wide, Watson drove it uppishly to the left of backward point and Dalrymple leapt full length and took a one-handed catch four feet off the ground. There were gasps from the crowd as that was replayed.

SR Watson c Dalrymple b Collingwood 37 (44b 4x4 1x6) SR: 84.09

oh yeah *duff man dance*
