I had a few friends over for pre drinks, and then we cabbed it to the docks. As soon as we got to the front of the line, I realized that I had forgotten my identification at home in my other purse. I was freaking out!! So the security started off by throwing my pack of cigarettes out. (I'm sure you were pleased about that, weren't you, Idma?)
I got in sometime around 1, and listened to some wikkid dnb by Ray Keith. Then I went and explored the other rooms (that I was allowed into). It was kinda boring on my own, and I really wanted to go upstairs or in the Liberation Lounge. At around 2:30, I attempted to get into the Lib. Lounge, because I thought that alcohol would have been cut off by then. Anyways, the security guy was SUCH AN ! He just kept yelling at me. It was a total mood killer.
I hung out for a bit of Johan's set, but wasn't really feelin it. I ended up FINALLY getting upstairs after 3:30. Pfft. The breaks room was pretty awesome.
Just after 4, I ventured into the main room to catch Kyau and Albert's set. Some awesome tracks were played (Walk Down, Made of Sun, Kiksu, Are You Fine, and there were a few more that I can't think of right now). The set overall was 6 or 7 out of 10. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Or maybe I am just saying that because I haven't gone to see a trance DJ in a long time (because my style has changed so much). I enjoyed the breaks and parkview room the most. I really enjoyed the variety of music last night. I was definitely in need of an all access event like this.
A wikkid moment for me was in the main room at around 2:00 when there was an announcement that WEMF 2007 is definitely happening, and the dates are confirmed. I knew that there would be a WEMF this year, but it made me happy nonetheless.
It was nice to see so many people that I hadn't seen in ages. I won't make a list of shout-outs, because it would be way too long. The TA crowd was in full force last night.
We left the club when it was over, and I came home and went to bed at around 8. After 3 hours of sleep, I feel great! :D
Next stop: US 12!!

I had a BLAST at this. Thanks to Del for Reduced.;) TA room best beats of the night imo by far. Gielen was sweet from what I remember, Kyau vs Albert were also very good but not my cup of tea, TOO many vocal tunes not enough variety imo.I went ape when I heard this though: Modulation - Spirits (Slusnik Luna remix).... nice! I had a blast overall though, w00t. Happy 7 Year TA.:D Here's to next year.

Im still in disbelief over how much fun I had.
I went to the Docks to support the TA dj's and celebrate with everyone anticipating a miserable night of tunes but alas with great company.
Well my friends, I was very pleasantly surprised. The vibe and energy in every room was contagious, I have never seen the Docks go off like that before.
My hands were in the air the entire night, I was loving the trance and it had found a very happy home in my pants.

Such an amazing night, Gielen killed it. I was so happy that he played beauty of Silence even though we were shouting for twisted the whole night:P I guess he just didnt have it on him. Nice to see the crowd so into it..amazing night I hope everyone enjoyed themselves which I'm sure everyone did.

Started out rather crappy with a huge line that didn't move - froze my ass outside for a good 45 minutes (no wonder I usually come early, the line flies).
Things have drastically changed when I got in however - TOTA massive knows how to party, and party we did. So great to meet some old and new friends, and people I've talked to on here but never met before.
Johan was great - excellent energy, but Kyau vs. Albert just blew my mind! Such an amazing set, cool and friendly guys too.

I only came there for Kyau and Albert but bad things kept happening to me and I finally had to leave. I was having a second thought about leaving but the moment Gielen dropped traffic it made my decision much easier. I woke up this morning wondering how my night got ruined like this. I don't believe in Luck, but I guess I didn't have any of that last night.
