Apparently you're supposed to do it 3-6 times to get good results. They say that they need to zap the hair when it is in the "Anogen" phase, and that it doesn't work as well when the hair is in different phases.
EDIT: My boyfriends dad had it done on his neck, and he has no hair, and has loved the results. |

Well he's lucky and good for him.
I did 5 sessions, 5 very expensive sessions and I regret it. I regret the money I spent, I regret the time I took up and the results I didn't get! I guess it doesn't work for all hair and all bodies, so the ads LIE!!!!

With laser treatment is that they don't work very well if you've got light-ish coloured hair and/or dark coloured or tanned skin as the laser likes to cook dark things.
Only thing which will permanently zap a hair follicle out of comission is electrolysis where you stick a tiny needle in there about 2-3 millimetres and run a current through it. It hurts, it's not cheap (have to do every single hair one by one!) and not really suited to large amounts of skin, though many years ago I took one home from work at the time and spent hours 'practising' on my legs, neck and eyebrows. OW! :eek:
Usually kills it for about 1-3 years, hasn't grown back since and that was 10 years ago!
Laser blemish correction though is well worth it, kind of pricey but it knocks out acne scars, spots and dots like magic. |

Gonna take the day off for tomorrow.
Buy her a peony flower bouquet and then cook her dinner in the afternoon.Pack it all up, pick her up from work at 6 and go to the beach and have a picnic/sunset/etcetc.
I sound like I'm whipped..and i do weep inside and wish I was single during valentines day. |
