I had to drive to Ottawa during the last snow Storm in February..
all I have to say...is be PREPARED!
Traffic was fine, it was absolutely dead. I guess everyone was smart and stayed home. But we literally saw 20 accidents. Most of them were people spinning out and hitting the median or flipped in the ditch.
Just drive carefully and definitely don't speed. Hope its not to windy either. The wind was the worst thing when I was driving. Since the roads were slick, the wind would cause my SUV to start sliding...I was actually a little scared...but made it to Ottawa alive... |

I remember i grade 12 (4 years ago) we had a snow day...without any snow! We were expected to get piles of snow...but it never came ahha. The only snow day without snow for me.
I think the people are stupid here as well. I grew up in Calgary and I never remember having snow days... |

Thanks for the warning, i gotta drive the back roads to Mont Tremblant too which should be fun.
