At washington square park now...light drizzle..a good crowd.
Danny Tenaglias float was one of the first ones to go down Broadway. We stayed behind at 5 n 32nd to take a few photos, then Drew was asked for a press pass. Didn't have one, so we literally ran down Bdway ALL the way till DT came into full view @ 9th street (goddamns these floats MOVE FAST!!!) omg soo *** tired...
Ran into danax ay star indy and friends...it was fun dancing down da street ahahh
Many genres n types of dance here -- the sounds from the gabber float is dominating right now ahhah now all the others making their way down 5th
Didn't see People NYC or Strobelifenyc tho :( saw PACHA float being set up but didn't see that go down 5th either hrms

i could only have stayed for a few and i was in the east village before i had to do somethin and i walked by union square and saw the be yourself float so i just followed it

over all it was fun and i hope they do it again next year

aww molly, no worries...actually Drew and I left when the rain got a bit too hard for us to handle (we were both holding cameras and bags and balancing umbrellas) so we missed most of the acts too. Im sure that this parade will come back NEXT year
In fact, since they managed to pull this off, im SURE there will be TWICE as many performers/floats. i was told half the floats dropped out for some reason :conf:
anyway here are some pictars that Drew took during the parade with the dSLR. We were speedwalking/running down the entire parade route (32nd st down Broadway to Washington Square Park) so it was quite an interesting experience -- actually GREAT FUN!!! :D
as far as im concerned, the BE YOURSELF float was one of the few that provided the **MOST** energy and i HOPE to see more EDM related floats/acts NEXT year!! :D
