A State of Mind *Closing Party* @ Spirits, w/ Edgar V & George Acosta, 2-16-07

Well, I just got the green light to post this one...
Tomorrow night, 2-16-07, will be the closing party for A State of Mind at Spirits, at the Hard Rock. Edgar V & George Acosta will be taking the decks at Spirits there for the last time.
Anyone in for this last memorable show tomorrow night?

| Same thing that happened last year, they had Edgar and Acosta there for a little while and then shut it down. But what a bad week for this. Oh well I got to go 3 times, and definitely enjoyed what Edgar and Acosta were doing over there. And they will be back for the SL Reunion next week. |

Too true. The party at Spirits may be over, but the party itself isn't TOTALLY over. More details to come soon...;)
And you're right...next weekend the Shadow Lounge Reunion will be on and should be another great night. |

Agreed that as far as trance is concerned "Nothing is over until we decide it is...."
I hope they promote the reunion big time so it gets the turnout it deserves. Many people would come out of retirement for the SL reunion.
And a new venue for 'A State of Mind' in Miami would be awesome as far as I am concerned. |

A State of Mind was going on in the biggest of the rooms of Sprits, and it was nearly empty all the times... As much as well all like Edgar and some of the dj's that played there... Theres nothing people can do when decision like these are made. Everyone knew this was a long shot decision having this as a weekly thing. I thought they were overdoing it by making it a weekly thing. Maybe 2ice a month would have been better and safer choice. Oh Well who knows its too late now to tell!! |

if you didnt see this coming that the party was going to end then ur stupid.
both hip hop rooms were packed while the main room for trance wasnt even close. |
