its funny b/c they are replacing one failed skins head coach with another.
I think Norv is an offensive genius though. Especially with helping out quarterbacks. He also has tons of connections to create a decent enough staff since San Diego's all bounced. |

a nice way to kick off the offsesaon Free Agency. Dre Bly signs with the Broncos. Joey Porter and Drew Bldesoe get cut.
the most saddening news to hear is Joe Horn getting cut by the saints. we will miss you. =( best saints wide receiver since eric martin. |

| i think the bigger story is the Jags signing Fred Taylor to a 3 year extension... wtf... you got Maurice Jones-Drew... PLUS the fact that Fred is Mr. Injury... this boggles my mind... but then I realize its the in JAGUARS... so I expect nothing less from them... oh well... |

actually i think this is a good decision. they jaguars know fred taylor is one of those few running backs that can break a long gain anytime (i don't know about now, but he did in the past). they could grind it out with jones, and then in the 4th quarters, hit the home run with taylor. another thing is that the 2 running back crew is the new fad in football now. the jaguars are protecting their future investment in jones by not giving him a heavy workload. |

| the saints cut Joe Horn?!:( He was the face of the franchise this year, even though he was on and off. Plus he didn't complain when things got tuff (see Aaron Brooks) |

Dre Bly was actually traded to the Broncos for Tatum Bell. (He didn't sign as a free agent). Tatum now gets the shot AGAIN to be the man since Kevin Jones has such a severe injury. Wish the Rams still had Bly...
Weak free agent crop this year.
Joe Horn was the man. Any chance they try to bring him back under a restructered deal like the Rams did last year with Isaac Bruce? |

| I'm happy Smoot is a Redskin again. We won't get more than a few solid games out of Shawn Springs next season. He's the Fred Taylor of corners. |
