That would only get him through the first two hours of a nine hour set, so I doubt he'd just play that :p

I think the main reason why so many people are beginning to follow danny more and more now is because he is one of the few djs who has kept his signature style of music. When you look at the likes of john digweed, sasha etc most of them have been gradually changing their style of music. Compare a set from digweed in 05 to his latest transitions cd and the difference is huge. Far too many djs are following the 'in' sound, be it electro, minimal or whatever. For so many years these djs have been at the top of the progressive house scene and for whatever reason they always seemed to have a bigger following than the likes of danny howells or nick warren. But now their change in musical direction has allowed such people as danny howells to come to the fore. I dont necessarily think that it was a case of people not paying attention to howells, i do think that anyone who was into the progressive scene has always payed attention to him and respected him as a class act but yet with sasha and digweed leading the way in the scene then perhaps your right in that he hasnt received the recognition he deserves. But it just shows that it pays off to stick to your own style of music.

EVERY track had a melodic hook in it, some just don't come out and scream at you. Did you actually LISTEN to the set as a whole or just flip through the tracks?

No no, listening, FEEL the set....doubt he did

Does anyone have a better quality version of this set? Mine sounds a bit muffled and muddy. It's 167.55mb and called [HOUSE] Danny Howells - Essential Mix Radio1 BBC 18-02-2007.mp3.

Thanks
