Nathan Phillips Square re-design Proposals

so the proposals were presented yesterday at city hall. unfortuently i didnt go because i mixed up the date. i will be going there tomorrow however and will post my review after, even though im leaning towards one design already. everything will be displayed in the rotunda at city hall until the 26th, so make sure to go check them out as this is a very important part of our city.

here are the renderings from each of the finalists so you can get an idea of what the firms came up with.

I think with all the problems this city has and the fact that they are constantly crying to higher levels of government for more money that there are better things to be doing then redesigning the square. None of those designs look all that different then what we have now to my eyes, leave it alone I say.

I was actually thinking that they really don't do anything dif with the square, what is the point?

im from hamilton and have been to NPS many times.. and i was wondering what did they change with these new designs? waste of money if you tell me.

I chose Rogers Marvel Architects.

The city needs more usable green space, not less. Especially at City Hall.
