You don't think being followed constantly, having photos taken while on her own property (and every where else) without her permission, is wrong?

Would you allow some regular person to do that to you?

Don't you think if a regular person was following you around and putting photos of you out so that world could see, without your permission, you would be pissed? Don't you think that they would get into a lot of trouble for stalking you, and for using your likeness without your consent?

It is wrong.

The only ones I would be upset about are the ones where I'm at home. Those, yes, I could see being upset about and an invasion of privacy. But all the ones out in public are fair game. Especially in today's world...as a celebrity you KNOW you're going to be followed around. And if you don't want the world to know that then don't do it out in public. Simple as that. When I go partying I don't walk around and flash my balls everywhere, I don't do so many ing drugs that I go crazy and shave my head. And I certainly CERTAINLY wouldn't marry (and have kids with) a total twat like Kevin Federline. So everything that's happening to her right now is terrible, and it sucks that it has to be public knowledge. But she brought it on herself.

THANK YOU! See, I'm not the only one who thinks this.

I guess I just don't agree with this idea that just because you're famous, you should be forced to relinquish your privacy, and not have the right to NOT be stalked.
Sunsnail
I doubt they legally can. Has she actually tried to do anything about it legally? Hitting their cars or whatever other nonsense is not the way to go about it.

I sort of agree, but I also understand that as a celebrity in today's society you have to expect that people are going to want to know anything and everything about you. Your personal life as you know it grows more and more non-existent as your level fame increases. I don't think that it's right to stalk them, and I see absolutely zero reason why anybody should think that, "Oh they're a celebrity, I have to know everything about their life!" but apparently people do. It's stupid.

No.

It's not that you should, it's that it just happens and you deal with it. Some stars "act out" and are "hoolagans" in public more than other stars, and that is what causes then paparazzi to be on your ass 24/7. The ones who are more low key like Julia Stiles for example...she has paparazzi follow her I am sure, but nothing out of the ordinary because she knows how to act in public. Celebrities are people to and should act civil as well as having the right to be treated like a normal person. If you don't want to be followed constantly, don't do dumb that you know will get caught on camera, get you upset and at some point drive you to do more dumb , it's that simple really.

The thing is, most of the pictures of them at home are taken from public...so although it's an invasion of privacy, it's not necessarily trespassing. And Theresa I'm with you 100%, it's a ty idea but that's what's out there. But keep in mind, these celebrities are living in the public eye. I mean they're not really "stalking" them.

But did little 9 year old Brittney know this?

Unlikly.

I am sure that many celebrities became famous without even realizing that they ever were going to BE famous. You don't become famous over night.

Not to mention, I think the glorified star life over powers any of the possible downsides, which no one can really understand (and probably don't get warned about, especially the younger ones) the true extent of until after they have experienced it.

This excuse that "they should know their life is going to be put under a microscope for the world to see", is B.S.
