Okay. I am just getting concerned that hotels will be slim pickings by the time we get a firm "yes" from everyone....
Graham was telling me that a lot of places are booked already.
I'm not looking to get too much out of a hotel in downtown detroit - so long as I can sleep and shower, I'm good. It's detroit. no need to get fancy. |

Are you going to deal with John if the hotel isn't up to his standards...been there, done that, barely lived to tell the story, not going back there. |

He won't have a hotel to stay in period if he doesn't get his act together soon!
He'll be thankful when he waits so long there's nothing left and I pull the reserved room out of my back pocket. :p |

For hotels, there are four that are right downtown near the festival - Holiday Inn Express (cheapest of the three), The Ramada Inn (on Bagley, fills quick, not so nice), the Courtyard Marriot (expensive but literally across the street), and the Ponachatrain. There are other, cheaper hotels about 10-30 minutes outside of downtown that WON'T be full if you're willing to drive.
And, yes, anyone with a spare spot in a room, let me know! I really want to come and am ready to buy a plane ticket this weekend if I can get a place to stay.

oops that was me who posted on Paul's log in... If I lived in Toronto I would definitely check out DEMF for sure, my comment was because John had expressed interest in coming to visit us at some point. :)
Only a few more months to go Jenn... then you'll be back!
btw we walked by Panama bar last night and I thought of you, I thought I had read on here that it was your fav amsterdam club. :) |

countdown to July is still too far away.. it will be the longest 3.5 months to wait, like it usually is :(
