For parties, the best night is Sunday night - Monday is a holiday day so people just go nuts with events - there were like 10 or more last year alone on Sunday night for afterparties!
Friday night is pretty dead - one or two there but small all of them. Saturday night is also respectable. Monday day is usually kinda dead - *maybe* one big event and a few smaller ones but the big nights are def Sat & Sun night from previous festivals.
Monday night, Richie closes the festival - so you HAVE to stay for that regardless.
Also, I found tickets to Detroit for $220 round trip so I might be in.....anyone have hotel space for the Detroit Ambassador? You know you want your official tour guide there......:p |

Also, two afterparties have been announched by Bleu:
Saturday, 5/26 - Gabriel & Dresden
Sunday, 5/27 - John Acquaviva
Once they let May come up in the events thread, I'll start a post for afterparties and start listing them w/info like tickets, age, hours, etc.

I think I have to agree.
I just spoke with my boss about my work travel the week prior which is only about 50% likely now - which is good because it would just be way too much travel I think. |

OK, well with Colin on the fence as well, I think I am going to book a room somewhere central for us, perhaps at the comfort inn on jefferson where others seem to be staying. (provided there is a reasonable cancellation policy - I don't want to commit to paying for a room by myself *just* yet lol)

John said he wants to go. I am going to hold off on the hotel for a bit - I found a couple others no one has mentioned really close to the ones listed. One cheaper and better reviews on Expedia and one more expensive - but depending on what we figure out on who is going - it might be the best option. |
