This is also the festival where the infamous Quadlizzy in feather boa appears....the pictures are under tight security and shall never be released for mass appraisal....but I can still poke fun.
I'm coming in Saturday for this and leaving Tuesday morning to head back to work (ha ha, yes, that thing called work). |

i was informed this weekend that he is not making it on that night. maybe another night that weekend but nothing is confirmed. its all good though still going to be a sick weekend.

Well visionquest is from what i understand the new name that tesh club goes under. So I am sure it will probably consist of the robot stable and theres. Seth Troxler, Ryan Crossen, Lee Curtiss and then the robot guys. Dunno though for sure so i will see what i can find. Below you will find all the other afterparties that i know about so far.

Thanks for the info Quadlow - I'd be most interested in hearing what else you find. I haven't seen too much yet.
I do know Bill Patrick will be representing the Robots crew (not sure who else will be with him).
Some of those other parties leave a lot to be desired for Techno-centric weekend. Paxahau at Bleu seems odd - but interested in hearing their line-up. Their party at St. Andrews a few years back with Speedy J and Chris Liebing is among my top memories from DEMF!!! Freaking ridiculous! |

Yeah not to many parties have been anounced yet. But believe me give it a few more weeks and the real parties will start getting released. I dont know if you went to the opening party last year at bleu but they had mathew jonson, one of my favorite artists at bleu and it was actually a really good time. The events they throw there seem to work rather well concidering the different type of music and people.
I didn't make it to the Speed J show but have been forced to hear from everyone else how sick it was for the last couple of years.

That show is still one of the best shows I've ever seen in Detroit - the wall of sound just hit you as you walked in the door and I couldn't stop moving for hours.
I'm hoping they come again this year - true, they've been every year but they are GOOD. |
