| Sorry for the noob post, but what does it mean when a mixer has "Pitch Bending"? Is this the same thing as master tempo? |

never heard of a Pitch Bend function on a mixer if its what I think it is (i.e. slowing down/speeding up of track). that how the buttons on Denon deck and Stanton TTs are called and thats just how they work..
allthough it could possibly be just another name for the adjustment of the track's pitch while maintaining a fixed tempo (i.e. DJM800 "color" knobs) |

| I don't know of any mixers with pitch bend. Pitch bend is when you temporarily slow down or speed up a track, but "buttons" to pitch bend are only found on CD Decks... |

| I just touch the sides of the platter to do that. You have that option on the CDJ 1000s and 800s. You grasp the sides and slow it down, or speed it up, like you would on a regular TT. |

| you can also do it with the 200's.... |

| I don't understand.... the CDJ platter isn't spinning, so how do you slow it down? |

buttons or use the platter on the deck. the platter is more like a giant knob than anything. also i hear certain brands of vinyl turntables have pitch bend buttons on them.. |
