Preferably a girl, preferably a student, preferably someone who is okay with helping me clean.
Rent: 500/mo + utilities (cable, gas, elect)
Location: Virginia Highlands
Im going to post what I posted on roommates.com:
I am a student at Georgia Tech working on my PhD in atmospheric science. I have one little kitty named Miss Delaney. The apartment is a huge 2 bedroom in the Virginia Highlands. Everything but the bedroom is furnished, which is in the back of the apartment and is the largest room. Hardwood floors, Italian tile bathroom, pedestal sink, huge kitchen, high ceilings, front porch, lots of character (I love my apartment!). Im looking for a roommate for a 3 month term to long-term. |

| Not that I'm interested since I'm poor as all unholy , but is that $500/mo rent the actual rent to be paid, or if said roommate moved in would it be $250/mo each? |

| 500 for your share. In the Highlands thats a freaking steal. You cant find a studio under 650. |

Hi,
How long do you think that it would take to get from your apt to the CNN Center in rush hour traffic?
I'll be living in Alpharetta this summer and commuting downtown, so I'm wondering if this might be a decent idea....
I'm a girl, a student (tho not during the summer), and I'll clean. :) |

Id say about ten minutes. You woundnt have to get on the freeway. I just take Peachtree down there. Quite close. If you want to map it, I live at the corner of Barnett and Ponce de Leon NE.
Snail, Id like to live with a student because they generally will have the same schedule and understand when I have to go to bed at 11 or midnight because I need to get up for class or when I have an exam. Its not a huge deal, its just one of those things where it would work out nice if we were both in school. |
