This is a result of the war on drugs, not the drugs themselves. |

hell yes they do. I can speak for south florida cops....I know this one Sheriff and he says he takes so much off of people and gives it to his druggy friends and this girl he sees cause shes a little pot/coke head. Hs says his buddies all do the same thing and they use it to get more chicks, lol. fooking crooked cops :D |

How is that funny? They take drugs from people they arrested and sent to prison for a long time. That isn't funny. Its ing like this that shouldnt be gotten away with. |

If they'd just drop this hypocritical 'all drugs are terrible influences on our society and must never be used' bull, they could legalize it (because let's face it, people will do it anyway) tax it, and spend the income on something useful, stop wasting huge portions of time and effort on the futile 'war on drugs' and put it towards funding something worthwhile. It would also more or less cripple a huge amount of organised crime, because like you said that's where they gain their funding, and make drug use safer for people who'd do it anyway, because they would know exactly what it is they're putting up their nose or into their veins or what have you. |

What are the latest figures? I know the war on drugs wastes a lot of money, I'd like to know how much we're throwing away. :mad: |

The authorities should turn a blind eye to drugs like weed or e. On the other side they need to crack down on the hard drugs like heroin and crack. Someone who likes the occasional spliff (joint) or pills not doing harm and their not robbing people to supply their habit. |

| all I know is I'd much rather be on the road with people that are high on weed than drunk...At least u can function and can drive when stoned, but not when your drunk in most cases. |
