I thought the one where Markus Schulz played at Ruby Skye on Thanksgiving 2005 was pretty awesome also. This was the day I fell in love with that deep progressive trance sound. |

Yup that was me. If some of you dont remember then, It was during the days when Spundae was throwing Sonic and Taj and Gianni and Jonathan Ojeda were gracing the decks. Also, it was during the times where Arrival was being thrown by Alex Whalen, Kramer etc. Also, it was during the times when D-Fuse was spinning for release on saturdays till 7 am. And also during the times were me, Rafael (Saturdays), Cyber joe, Don, Blurr were playing the basement as well as Pasha and Armann the Brainchild, Andrew MD as well as me and others were spinning at Orgy at Space 550. I can go on but I have many fond memories of 1015 and they keep getting better. :)
It been a while and a long ride... LOL |

Ya dude. Those were some fun ass times. I remember Dave Coleman in the basement and Taj & Gianni's sets were pretty intense back then.
I used to frequent 1015 because Homebase was closed and there was nothing else to do but go to 1015. Skills parties at Maratime hall were wearing thin too. I remember I used to call D-Fuses stuff Cowboy Trance... lol my hair was different colors like blue and white.
I also learned I had an eye for photography, and met Armin Van Buuren at 1015 a long as time ago as well as Tiesto after shooting some pics of them.
Who could forget those Orgy parties at Space550. Now when you talk about it to someone, they are like, "Were you some kinda freak back then? Orgy what?" haha.
I met Artimus at one of you guys parties Ish, Andrew MD was tearin it up on the decks after Armann, and I met him on those fruity Oxygen Machine thingies...we were so tore up...
One things remained constant tho throughout all the years, we have all returned back to 1015 for one reason or another.. I think its for one simple fact, we all in party our asses off. The club always feels like home for me, and for alot of Ravers out there.
Koroma, Andrew MD, Thomas, and Taj are so gonna tear the roof off this night. Its gonna be a great party and Im looking forward to it. |

Damn all you guys sure have good memories. Those days were all a lil "hazy" for me. LOL hahaha....but yeah, it has been a long ride and I am thankful everytime I grace the decks that I have met so much raw and unbelievable talent along the way. (and I'm not talking about the top 100 in the world either!!) I'm talking about deejays like Blurr, Ish, Taj, Koroma, and so on. We are all part of the reason why the bay area scene is as strong as it still is and I'm proud to be a part of it. I hope this main room debut will be as enjoyable for everyone as it will be for me. Let's rock this guys!!!! |
