oh, here's a track ID that bothered me all night because I knew I had it burnt to cd and had opened a set with it myself, Drew Van Atten's opening track was:

Minilogue - The Leopard (Extrawelt remix)

ch00n

he also spun

Sébastien Léger - Cosmonite

Justin Bright spun Francois Dubois - Blood.

I want your entire tracklist Drew. And if I could get the Holden tracklist that would be awesome.

Ok this show was worth every minute of the 10 hours total of driving that we did to get there and back to Tally.... my first time seeing Holden live, and it was absolutely amazing.

Btw, we definitely ID'd Madonna- Get Together (James Holden Remix), and we were pretty sure we heard Paul Kalkbrenner- Press On

:) It was great partying with you guys!!

Word.

Also, did anyone ever get a picture of the final product from the Rareform Crew?
iammesol
I did, and it's on my camera. I'll upload those when I get home tonight, and put them up here.

Ok ok ok... now that I'm somewhat relaxed after an INCREDIBLE weekend... I'll just go ahead and say.

TA Summary:
O. M. F. G. Madness.

Normal Summary:

I got up to the club around 4:30, and began moving around couches, counting tickets... just basically getting everything ready for the ultimate presentation. After the club was set up to satisfaction, had to grab Turner a Subway sandwich because there was absolutely nothing to do. Needless to say, by 9 I was thoroughly pumped to see people show up :D

The doors finally opened around 9:15, and Justin Bright was playing in the sideroom. This guy is freaking amazing. His transitions were flawless, music was pumpin', bassline lovely, and Adam (Demoted) and I only ID'd one track... We chilled in there until Drew went on.

Drew opened with Minilogue - The Leopard (Extrawelt Remix), which was my request, and from then on continued to bang the hell out of the main room. There was one song so bass heavy the top of my chest got a little tired from just standing there. (I wasn't even next to the speakers.) He put on Cosmonite later which set off Adam and I like firecrackers. We both knew it but couldn't place it... my what track :D Around the end he played a record which I didn't even know existed until he got it out of his car before the show. Bloc Party - The Prayer (Para One Remix) is sick. My friend Jason and I stood next to the speakers for seven straight minutes during the wonderful ch00n. I mean dang... sick ass bass, crazy drum programming and of course glitched out Kele Okereke vocals... I LOVE it!

Around 30 minutes into his set, Turner (ConnectATL) asked me to go grab James out of his cab... and you guys can just imagine how that felt. :disbelief I went downstairs, handed the cabbie $20, then buggy-eyed led James up to the green room. Hes really really cool, and had a smile on his face the whole way. James went straight from the cab to an interview in the back, which should be up soon.

After Drew ended his phantazmorgasmic set, James went from looking through his cds up to the main stage. They unhooked the right TT, hooked up an extra (IWantMoreJavier's) cdj, and then some weird little Redsound? device into the headphone jack. James proceeded to absolutely decimate the dancefloor. It just never stopped... I was worried that he wouldn't be able to pull a 4 hour set, but he never failed to bring the fury. After the show, and a little "jail cell" hiding situation, we took these.

James & Turner

My brother, James, and I

All in all, my first clubbing experience was one of the best times of my life...

and heres that Rareform painting in 100% completion.

Needed that subway.

I went by Tim Degroot's creezy last night and saw the paintings from the show. They look really damn good. Those guys keep steppin it up.

I got one of the smaller ones from the show on my wall right now. Werd.

Rareform will be doing more shows and gallery type stuff real soon so everybody will get a chance to see the pics again.
