I realized over the weekend...

that I really don’t like going out any more. Walking around in sexy, but extremely uncomfortable shoes, getting hit on by dumbasses, getting drinks spilled on me as I squeeze my way through the crowd to wait on line for 10 minutes to pee. It’s just not fun any more.

Not to say that it has anything to do with me being anti-social, because I’m a very social creature and love being around my friends, but I just realized over the weekend that I really DON’T enjoy being in a bar or club that much any more. I force myself to go because that’s pretty much what people my age do when they want to go out and have “fun”. I hate coming home and stinking of cigs and beer. I don’t even like getting wasted any more. It sucks. It was so much more fun when I had an 8ball in my purse. Lol

I’m much more of a day time person. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older but I just love when it’s beautiful out and I hit the beach with my friends or do something cool outdoors. Love getting up early on a Saturday and going for breakfast and then the beach. I can’t wait for daylight savings so I can stay at the beach even longer.

I mean I'll go hit up a club if someone major is going to be there like Sasha, but no more of this every weekend bull Friday & Saturday night partying...I guess I'm a dork.

well i can agree with you somewhat on this
for me i love sunny days because up here in Canada, its not always warm
so as the days get nicer i just love the daytime more and more
but since ur from florida, u r blessed with always having this

but for myself
a day in the sun, beach, pool, waterpark or even a picnic is way more enjoyable and relaxing then any club/bar experience

this thread is making me sad tho
i want summer nowwwwwwwwwwwwww

chill bars ala gordon beersh > clubbing..

i enjoy going to drink in bars more than clubbing... u can def make a night out of bar hoping and what not instead of paying cover, not being able to talk to anybody..

going clubbing is stil nice every once in a while.. last time i went clubbing was in november.. well 1nce in december but that doesnt count :o, and i dont miss it one bit

i think the next time im going clubbing is in august when i go to europe.... so all this waiting will pay off.

Yep, you're getting older.

I've felt this way for a long time. Going back to school had a lot to do with it, but it was also the fact that at the end of the day, I can't relate to most party people. I've seen more bad than good in the past year, and it was enough to really turn me off of the scene up here.

But, it was a blessing in disguise. I've grown up and my tastes have matured, so now I only hit the parties that really interest me musically.

Ohh I can relate so much to what you're going through as well... it's not that fun without that 8ball, believe me, been there too =/

I was partying hard like crazy, hitting the club every weekend till one night it got so nasty I decided to take a break... then when I got back to my usual routine I did enjoy it a lot so that's what I do now and then, party hard and then chill for a few weeks...

I suggest you take a small break and see how it goes, hitting the club each and every weekend will get boring, or at least for most people. It has nothing to do with getting older, you just get bored of doing the same thing every weekend no matter how fun it can be for certain people...

Try to mix things up, going to the beach usually does the trick for me...

I've been like that for the past year or so. I so cannot be bothered to go out to same bars and clubs I've been too one million times.

Out of the bars in central Northampton five decent ones but unfortunatly their inhabited by pretenious knobends in their early thirties who think they own the place, along with a DJ playing overly loud funky or electro house records you've heard a thousand times on a soundsystem so speaking is impossible.Your lucky if you get served at the bar in 20 minutes.

The rest of the bars you might as well take a shotgun inside as a fights on the cards, as the booze is a bargain and the chav's love their watered down stella.

I was out on Saturday with my mates ended up going all over the place, and too the main club which is a meat market hole where you have to wear shoes. I was so unbothered I wore trainers that night and ended up wearing my socks over them :stongue:

These days I go to my local pub it's quite like a bar in some aspects, I know loads of people in there who are a good bunch. These days If I have a decent meal in a good restaurant, or drinks with friends round my house, a trip to the local, and the odd house party I'm happy.
