Im sorry but from the link here..the song sounds terrible. Average bargain bin trance at best. Makes 'love comes again' sound like a masterpiece. |

I apologize on behalf of Tiesto to the entire electronic music community. This is awful. |

Not that bad... Still beats any gay vocaltrance tracks by Kyau & Albert or recent above & beyond tracks.
Pretty commercial, but definately not his worst and still better than the average garbage his counterparts Avb & Pvd release these days. |

I'd beg to differ. I'd take Walk Down, Are You Fine, hell, almost any male vocal trance track over this. :p |

I don't ;)
Just a matter of taste here it seems... But this song in particular isn't exactly much worse than other pop-rock-commercial 'trance' tracks these days. Hey, I'm not such a big fan of it either... But a lot of ppl (no, not you) just dislike this because of the artist. |

thank goodness for that!
i'm really longing for the days back when the club isnt @ 120% its capacity for every gig.
Roll on '07! and further alienation of new fans! |

I'm not so sure. If you analyse all of the mentioned tracks objectively, you'll notice K&A/A&B productions are much more complex and sophisticated. A lot of Tiësto tracks (especially the commercial ones) seem to lack substance, which is the case again here. If you remove the vocals, there's hardly anything left in the track, whereas Good For Me or any other A&B production can function perfectly without them.
I agree with the latter part of your first post though, I'd take a Tiësto album over a Pvd or AvB album any day. |

Looks like Tiesto is following Armin's lead in titling his productions to fit the state of his career.
"Wall of Sound", "Empty State", and "Golddigger" for Armin, now "In The Dark" for Tiesto. |
