So you're content in believing that we're all a bunch of retards behind a computer monitor who think that TA is the center of the EDM community? And you're content in believing that we don't understand the promotional aspect of the scene, and you somehow feel slighted that we've apparently shown some sort of lack of respect for what you've 'done for the scene.'

Interesting, you are an infrequent poster and posted about an event, but was greeted with open arms. Perhaps it was because the event featured a regular poster? |

If there is a consistent pattern over 4+ years of the same behaviour from ThomasH then he will be treated as such.
Did I close this thread? No. I'm entitled to make a comment on a thread, which I did.
It's obvious you've got some issue with me Ruben, but if you're genuinely peeved solely because this thread is getting bashed then you should be happy because all of these posts will provide even more publicity. |

I'd rather see some spam about some events that I wouldn't otherwise have known about than see these people get censored out by over-zealous mods and the MWTA lynch mob.
edit: I do think that there should be a more concerted effort to keep events within the stickied state-specific event threads. |

| I think that ironically, this community has become anti-trance. And I think we see the fruit of that in a thread like this. If it was an electro or progressive house event, I think it might have been "ok" and there might not have been any backlash - rather, support. It's not an issue I have with you personally, Bobby. |

Possibly. I will be trying to post in here as much as possible. I have my own forum that I must maintain order in as well so that pulls me away for time, not to mention real work.
Nonetheless thanks for everyone who's given me a warm welcome and I'm in love with Jennifer Rene. Peace.

I've made an effort to get promoters to do this, and/or create particular threads to promote all of their events at the same time to:
a) cut down on clutter, and
b) get more exposure for events that might otherwise fall off the first page of the forum.
Most people have been open and receptive to this idea, and have subsequently created such dedicated threads. Others have not.
And for the record, nobody is being 'censored'. |
