I think it all depends on where he plays as well. I have a ton of live sets from him and it seems as though his sound just varies all over the place. But for the majority of his sets, you are right. His set at Nation last year was evil! :disbelief

I haven't listened to his radio show. I've dled some of his recent sets here and there. I've seen him live a bunch of times mostly back in the day at Twilo.

Oakenfold w/ Pete Tong will be almost like the old live BBC essential mixes from the 90s (minus one more big UK DJ - insert Sasha, Digweed, Cox, Rampling, etc.)

I'm hoping I'm dreaming and that this question really wasn't asked.

And I'm staying in that night, unless one of these parties is 18+ (I know Oakey/Tong is 21, so I'm referring more to Digweed, although IIRC Pacha Saturday is also 21, so...yeah)

Digweed - Mstrcrft is gonna be a sick opener

I am concerned about diggers because when I saw him @Labour TWO years ago he bored me to tears and he was first in the lineup....not a good sign if you are asleep at 9:30pm.

I was there and he ripped that place apart. He played "Some Kind of Freak" and the whole room just went off.

I think you must have meant this past year, because I was there throughout 3/4 of his set (chillin with friends I hadn't seen in a while...the only reason I stayed). The room was pratically empty and NO ONE went crazy. This past year I heard he played a great set at labour but I was listening to ferry/armin. Or maybe he played a good tune in the last 20 minutes of his set when I left to splash water on my face in attempts to wake up for the evening.

LOL..thanks!
for chrissakes you would think I went on a christian board and said god sucks. lol I am glad someone agrees with me.....but I also dont really care if other people think I am nuts. He bored me and the rest of the crowd that night (AND one other night!)....and I dont really want to pay to see him again. lol oh well! Its like if you dont like armin, thats cool, there is more room for me to dance. Dont try to concvince me otherwise because it all works out in the end for everyone.

I only saw the last hour of his set but he was killing it. I think that was two years ago. Definitely not this past fall. Tyas? Was that two years ago or was it three? My memory is going....

I dont remember him being there 3 years ago. My memory is also going, bc I have been there the past 5 years and getting my events confused. Either way I saw him 2 labours ago and the place was not filled with any form of excitement. That I know :( Dissapointed, too, bc I heard great things, and thought he would redeem the first time I saw him. ah well. such is life.

Digweed was playing Full Blown - Some Kinda Freak (Sebastian Ingrosso Remix) fall of 2005. I saw him play at Glow in DC sept 2nd that year and it was SICKK. I just remember him looping Pryda - Aftermath :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: I just have no respect for Armin fans whining that digweed is boring. 3 minute epic breakdowns and cheesy vocals are boring to me. Djs who dont really evolve after years and years of playing the same crap are BORING..
