I am not whining. I was actually saying that it doesn't bother me when people dont like who I like because it works out better for me. It works out better for you that digweed is boring to me because thats more space on the dance floor for you, as is armin for me.
I dont know why people get their panties in a bunch over defending their DJ when its actually advantageous that not EVERYONE likes their DJ. You cant fit the 12 million people of nyc in one club if they all liked the same guy. lol and trying to convince people to like their dj or saying they have "no respect" is a waste of time (you will never change peoples minds and neither will I) and just rude because its not about respect its about tastes. |

I wasn't trying to convince anyone to like digweed...and for the record Danny Howells, Mark Farina, and Lee Burridge are MY fav djs. Digweed is up there of course but I just found it hilarious that Armin fans were calling Digweed boring. I never said you didnt have respect. I said that I HAD NO RESPECT for armin fans calling digweed boring:) Its like an NSync fan calling Pink Floyd boring;) I generally respect peoples tastes but not when they are THAT off:haha: :haha: :haha: |

Nah most "prog" is pretty boring. I'm a house and techno head sorry :)
Digweed doesn't really play any prog really anyway anymore. It's electro/minimal tech/tech-house/techno. That's the problem with true trance heads. They generally are the most clueless in the edm world ;)That's how the Oakenfolds of the world can charge 40 dollars plus admission for 2 hours of crap and get away with it:) |

yes so you DO have no respect for me, because I AM an armin fan and I DO think digweed is boring. Thats very immature claiming that you have no respect for me based on that, while not knowing a single thing about me otherwise :rolleyes: There are more to people that their fav DJ's, .
AND its not about being OFF its about what people like...how can someone be OFF for liking armin but calling digweed boring. He IS boring imo, and thats how it is to me.
And calling Twilo and/or trance heads clueless is just plain stupid and generalizing. Digweed used to play prog. We dont listen to him anymore because he has bored us in the past. Why would anyone keep listening to someone they dont even like just to keep up with the genre he is playing?? :rolleyes:
Doesn't mean anyone is clueless, we just have better things to do in our life, that satisfy our OWN tastes than to listen to someone that we dislike. |
