So back in January I got a $530 speeding ticket for going 97 in a 70 (yeah yeah, I was late for work). Apparently I had 15 days to either send in the money to pay for the ticket, or send the ticket in so they can assign me a court date. Time went by and I don't know how but i completely forgot about it. It's now March 8, about a month and a half since I got the ticket, and I have yet to send in the ticket for court date or pay the fine. No one has contacted regarding it, so my question to you is wtf should I do? Flame away if you must :(

they'll catch up with you eventually. just wait. if they don't, youre in luck.

You must travel to the Dagobah System for your answer.

where the do you get a $530 speeding ticket?!?!?!

I've had one for 93 in a 65, and one for 77 in a 45, & neither was over 150. :wtf:

either way, go sort that out ASAP. For something that big, it's probably gonna go on as a criminal charge if you don't take the right steps.

different states have various ways of calculating it
i've gotten two in my days, one for going 60ish in a 40 in massachusetts, that was like 265
and one for going 81 in a 55, which was about 150 in new york
idk

dude my ticket hasnt even gotten processed yet! im ing dying wondering what its going to cost me! they wont move the ticket to my home county. im just going to have to postpone court so that i can save the money and drive up there with like $700 so that i can hopefully get it lowered and pay it off while im there.

you should take care of it asap.

and btw this is for my 104 in a 70 ticket.:nervous: i dunno how much it will really be but i hope not more than 700 but i will find out.

I know, but $530? That's insanity. The cities always charge way more than anywhere else (a ticket for going 1 mph over in Houston is more than my 28 over was in southern illinois).

WOWWW!! Kyle, that's tough. I'd send in the money ASAP. They will get to you eventually and the longer you wait to pay it, the more you may get in to.

YA! WTF is up with the cost so high? I was doing 110 in a 75 and my ticket was 365$. I wasn't late for anything, I'm just a bad ass.

middle of ing nowhere california. litteraly. i was going south on i5 from sacramento to home south of LA. i know that my 30 over ticket 5yrs ago was 350 and my 15over ticket 2yrs ago was 315 or so.
shiny one
, I'd do what I could to find out what I needed to do to pay it. For something like that, you're probably screwed if you don't pay the money. Specially if they end up giving you a court date and you somehow missed the letter for that. I don't think I'd like jail, and you probably wouldn't either :(
