what a phenominal night. it was my first and last time at sonic, but i'm kicking myself for not having gone more often. what a great venue! it was my first time hearing jeff and brad, and holy crap, i couldn't get enough. everyone said house would win me over eventually, and last night solidified it (not that i'm abandoning trance, but i was dead sober and having a great time, so thanks guys!). the disco ball was legendary, the crowd was friendly, there was plenty of room to dance, and it was a pleasure partying with a whole new group of TA's. can't wait to see you all again!

LOL. I said that too before. Now, house has pretty much taken over my brain :p

It has begun Jenn, and you know you can't stop it ;)

I'm with everyone else on this, it was an awesome night at Sonic. I'm really sad to see this place shut down. I enjoyed groovin to the sets I was able to hear and had fun with my own. Shouts to Nevio, Carey, Jaz, Eddie K, Erica, Will, Jeff, Jonny, Andrew, Russell, Gairy, Jamal, Peter, Michelle, and EVERYONE who was partying their ass off on that floor! I hope that something new comes of this and keeps the party rolling.

For me, that was the best sonic night ever...

My review will be posted when the fallout from the 'Button & Brad Bombs' clear...

Oh man what an awesome night ! I was having such a great time i almost forgot that it was the last time Sonic is ever gonna be open ... Got in right when the doors opened and Jeff was warming up the room, with each track he doped i was more and more impressed wikkied set buddy will defiantly want a copy of that promo. Then Brad took over after jeff seamlessly, basically a perfect transition he picked up right were jeff left off. Great seeing everyone! Rachel and Michael you guys are defiantly my fav ppl to hit the club with such good times <3!, it was great to meet Babs.... I have to agree with what other ppl had said there defiantly was some electricity in the air that night that vibe that made Sonic the amazing club that it was nothing in this city even comes close .... I'm very sad that i discovered Sonic as late as i did but from the 1st time i was there i was totally in love it defiantly was my fav Club in Toronto after System. I have nothing but good memories from Sonic and i miss it so much already.

We have pics and vid but I may not be able to get them uploaded until tomorrow or Weds, please be patient.

Ok.

The support shown for Jeff was more than I have seen for any opening dj at Sonic, ten-fold. We always said that he would be a perfect opener for that venue and I think Saturday proved that and more! I think Jeff could have played any slot with ease. The way he worked the crowd was amazing, track selection flawless, happy times and loads of friends, that was truly magical for me. Liz is your muse and inspiration and I felt that love throughout the room.

Then Brad. I turned to Adam and said, "Am I allowed to be in love with Brad Copeland?". He said I was. Bully for me!

Nevio was also rockin' - he really looked as if he was enjoying himself.

And Jeff, Cajjmere played Craig David later on, I almost pissed myself!

I left before Jonny as I knew I wouldn't be able to leave. I would have chained myself to something.

The disco-ball fight didn't take place - the blue hue of excitement and joy prevented any thoughts of fighting. That ball will forever be in my heart.

Tyler, thanks for the lovely comments. Jay/Sam/Frank - I love cutting the rug with you boys. Andy, we killed it, no? Gypsy, you were our welcome add-on! My friends Jeff, Liz, Michael, Barbara, Adam, Nicola, Jeffrey, Rich, Alex, Dave, Katy, Josh, Andrew, Umar, Sarah, Yve, Tara, Tristan, Yvonne, Joe, Peter, rj, Margaret, Kevin, Kevin T, Dan, Clay, Jamie, Bryan, Ronnie, Marco, Kat, Steve, Graham, Dawn, Dave, Andie, baffum, Brandon, Brandon, Kevin, Chris, Sam, Ben, Walter I love you all. Thank you for some wonderful memories.

And to the lovely guys who lurk on here, I was very flattered :):)

couldn't have been a better night... everything was just perfect

for some reason i have had a lotta love recently for Pryda's Frankfurt track - so getting to hear that (i think in Copeland's set) made me a happy dancer

really gonna miss that place... is this the end of dancing it up in the ol chinatown theatre? :(
