| Lots of people seem very confused about what irony is. Irony is a discrepancy between two things: between the knowledge of one party (audience) and the knowledge of another (characters) or between surface meaning and actual meaning or between the intended effect of an action and its actual result. |

Well the guy who puked stayed in the bathroom for about a half hour (I assume he was still sick). The guy who got puked on gave his coat and sweater to the girl working there who offered to wash them in their machine in the back.
Then the guy who got puked on left temporarily to do something, and in that small window of time, the guy came out of the bathroom and left with his friends. They never even saw each other.
Mr. Pukealloverhim came back and finished his date a little later. |
