do any of you do it? i personally have a thing against it so that it doesnt create any sort of awkward or unworkable situations. have any had any problems? discuss.

lol, Walker's awesome today.

edit // A long time ago I used to work at Target and I used to date people from work all the time. Most of the time they were in high school or freshmen in college anyway, so it wasn't really weird. This one guy though, I swear he had a fetish for cashiers. He dated almost all of the girls :wtf:

Its that attitude that will never land you a sweet promotion

my manager (25 years old) and assistant manager (23) have been on and off forever. most of the time it's perfectly fine, but ocassionally, they get in a fight about some stupid and it makes work super uncomfortable. the other day, my manager called to talk to my asst.manager and i guess they were on the outs, because when i brought the phone back to her, she REFUSED to talk to him. um...how do u explain that one to your boss? i was like "yeah, she uh...doesn't want to talk to you?".

weird. i don't think it's a good idea if you work for a small company and see each other all the time.

Well... I work for a big company, so it is fair to say I've had the chance to date a lot of women at work.

However there was this 1 time when things didn't end up exactly the way I intended and it got pretty nasty, my manager called me one day to his office and pretty much told me to end that relationship (I was dating an intern from same department) because there were rumours flying around that I was messing with the interns or something, and on top of that he told me not to say a word about that particular convo lol...
So I broke up with her, couldn't give her a decent explanation... she entered the company now as a full time employee and hates my guts big time lol.

Lesson: Never date any women working in the same department as you are... and never mess with human resources nor finances nor lawyers in the company. Been there and although I got lucky and they're all friends of mine, I've heard other cases when their personal files and personal promotions somehow got "lost" and didn't get the pay raise they were aiming for... minor "accidents" they call it.

don't where u eat. although having a crush on a co-worker certainly makes work more interesting. i miss having that. but yea, i wouldn't get involved with someone i work with.

If you both can keep it secret, I see no reasons why you shouldn't go for it... keyword: keep it secret.

My boss only found out because some other jerk off saw us holding hands and making out at a club... and for some reason he felt the need to express it to someone else and that's how it was spreaded.

ive been through something similar but it just wasnt at work. a girl i dated had problems with her ex and other people were just retarded so we did. i didnt really like it but at the same time it was kinda fun.
