I am going to picnic here with my honey all summer long!

Depends where in North York you are. There's a park trail that starts at Sheppard and Leslie, the entrance is on the North-West corner, and it runs north through a nature reserve. Its a good chunk of kilometers.

I will check it out. I live around Yonge and Sheppard.

Last Saturday, it was freezing rain and I couldn't run on the sidewalks, so I had to stick to the roads and it was tough to find a place to run. I need to familiarize myself with my area I think.

Are there any good websites to find parks? Ones without creeps and freaks?

Bathurst and steeles, G-Ross park is nice...

also there is a nice park that goes all along Don Vally Park way. You can ride a bike path through the park all the way from eglinton to lakeshore. Its realy cool.

I go to Tommy Thompson Park (lakeshore & leslie) to ride my bike during the summer. Very quiet and great view of downtown Toronto.

LOL. During the summer, those 2 places are top spots for BBQ among the immigrants.

I'm a huge fan of the island.

Take the ferry to Centre island and go from there....$8 I think.

Oh, just don't miss the last ferry out or you're camping.
