Slow down in the DJ booth and relax! Take your time mixing, don't rush mixes and don't try to play all your best records right away.
Have Fun! |

| relax and try to enjoy it. I noticed i would get nervous and rush a lil bit. Ends up sounding like poop. So have a few relaxer drinks, then just go buck wild. |

| I think since you are closing up it would be good to bang out the good stuff early in your set then start breaking it down for the last portion. |

take your time
relax
have a couple drinks, not too many, just a couple, it will help keep you from playing basketball with the needle when you go to put it down (trust me, you'll see)
have fun, smile, show them you're into it too
if you have a bad mix, get over it and move on, the crowd will forget about it pretty quickly, especially if you drop in a banging tune
since you're closing, try maintain the energy from the dj before you, mix out of his track if you can, you can hammer away then taper off like suggested or if you can maintain that energy ride it right til they tell you to stop
once again, have fun |
