Because it's a piece of classical music you dolt. Samuel Barber is dead and the piece is probably in the public domain. Every dance version is a cover. |

Yup...it's not copyrighted and Barber's dead so anyone can sample it without any sort of permission. I think it goes that after someone dies, they're work stays copyrighted for a certain amount of years...but he's long dead. |

Anyone got any actual info on this? I heard something about money going to family or something but I'm probably wrong. |
