WMC Day 2 Review

Kick off my 1st night here with Mixology @ Twilo featuring
Chris Lawrence, Judge Jules, George Acosta, A&B, eddie, and many more.
Got to club around 2AM Chris was on the deck, good set. However, as a number 10 DJ in the world, his mixing skill is not what I expected.
Jules came on deck after Chris, abousoultly awesome set he performed.
Afet Jules the club starts dying out with very few people to start with. I think the promoter cancel all other DJs' set due to the lack of audiences.
Overall, bad experience for my 1st WMC night. But, glad I heard Jules awesome set.
Updated:
Passed out this morning unexpectedly and missed the poolside party at shelbourn. On my way to Poolside though, I bumped into Chris Lawrence with his wife heading to this Bowling party with Sasha, Sander, etc.
Spoke to Edgar V, and got us in The Fifth. Also found out that he is switching to house muzik. He warmed up the place with an exceptional house set till 1:30AM and killed one sub. SVD came on and tore the place up with his hardcore tech trance set. Overall, very satisfy with tonight's show. Only complaint is the speaker system wasn't that great.
Left the Fifth at around 5AM and heading to Danny Howell at Pawn Shop and found out that it's closed. [Corrected: it was the wrong Pawn shop we went I found out that when I go see Richie Hawtin there...:haha: :haha:]

| sounds like a bust.... is non-PVD/AVB trance dying at WMC? i remember last year, the B&J, J00F, & Sander party, barely got past J00F's set without it closing cos of lack of people... dang |

| All I care if he remembers anything pass the 48th hour at WMC because I never normally remember anything anywhere I go to party for a week. :eyespop: |

A&B didn't even come...I was so pissed off....
anyway, I will go see him tomorrow at nikki beach then...

damns that sucks.
miami is normally a house scene...but during WMC its sposed to be TRANCE!!! :( I know most FLTAS are heavily into trance...wonder what accounts for the lack of ppl going to those parties :( . |
