How many of you actually scratch with CD decks?

And do you have audio/video examples?
I'm just curious. I'm a laptop DJ for now, and I've never seen anyone scratch on CDJs, etc. I was just curious to how many people really do this. |

I do.
Not too terribly often, but if I'm playing a funkier/techier upbeat set, I'll definitely scrratch over a few breakdowns. |

| I had CDJ 1000 MK2s and I hardly ever scratched. Sometimes I did for fun, but I just didn't like the sound vs. on TTs. It sounds more natural on TTs...and that's why more turntablists stick to TTs. A few like those mentioned, and I am sure hip hop DJs do, but most trance and progressive house DJs don't. |

I do! I use the my CDj's exclusively on Vinyl Mode.

only after i watch a zabiela video
or if i am drunk
i just got my 1000s a bit more than a month ago so I'm not really comfortable with scratching on them yet. definitely interested in seeing what i can do with it in the future though |
