WHAT?! |

| The Highroller |
| quote: | | Jeff Mills is a planetary superstar of techno, an unwearied hero of mega-events and an ace of the three-deck mix; his musical touch has been a force on this city's dance scene for over 20 years. Jeff returns to Detroit to headline the festival with a main stage closing performance on Monday night. |
Noooooooooooo!!!
Why?
:( |

Could just be that they put Richie on Sunday night instead of Monday since that gives people in Windsor a better chance to come over and so people have a full day after to recover...
...don't get too upset just yet, it will be bananas whenever he plays. |

I've never seen Mills before so I shouldn't complain, but Hawtin in Detroit at the end of the festival is definitely something I was looking forward to.
A friend of mine says there's a tronic treatment after party in the works with Christian Smith obviously, Barbara, and probably some other big names.
Barbara is playing at the beatport stage on Sunday - I expect that will be a great line up as well. (just like the whole festival! duh) |

No Richie closing?!?!? BAH! That is the first time in four years he hasn't closed Monday night - sorry guys, I thought it was a lock. :(
In other news, Mills is good - not as good as Richie but still good.
The Works is the best club in Detroit - dirty, dark, sketchy goodness but yet mildly more refined than the CZ. Christian Smith there is going to be packed but wicked! |

OFFICALLY got the time of work today with my partner (Mon, Tues, Wed).
Found out Monday that my big course assignment is due the weekend before.
My exam is 2 weeks afterwards (so no conflict w/ studying on the final weekend before it).
AND CARA IS PUMPED AND READY TO DRIVE ON HER FIRST TRIP TO THE D!
