Uhh, welcome to the next 30+ years of your life, bud. Just wait 'til you work weekends where you work 'til 10 on a Saturday night, then pull a 17-hour shift that Sunday. Fun times ahead!

I expect to spend a nice portion of my life without sleep what with the profession of choice.

I don't think you ever hear Steve Jobs complaining about working.

jobs only gets a $1 paycheck a year

Jobs worked at Apple for several years with an annual salary of US$1, and this earned him a listing in Guinness World Records as the "Lowest Paid Chief Executive Officer." At the 2000 keynote speech of Macworld Expo in San Francisco, the company dropped the "interim" from his title, making him permanent CEO of Apple. His current salary at Apple officially remains US$1 per year, although he has traditionally been the recipient of a number of lucrative "executive gifts" from the board, including a US$46 million jet in 1999 and just under 30 million shares of restricted stock in 2000-2002. As such, Jobs is well compensated for his efforts at Apple despite the nominal one-dollar salary. This approach reduces his personal tax liability because, under current U.S. tax law, salary income is taxed at a significantly higher rate (currently up to 35%) than the capital gains tax (currently a maximum of 15%) applied to profits arising from the sale of stock grants. Obtaining remuneration through stock instead of salary is a common tax minimization strategy for many upper-echelon U.S. executives.

i guess he doesn't get paid $1 anymore

what sucks is...

- having a "groundhog day" flashbacks every morning you wake up

- coming home, finding "hot israeli girls" thread, fapping til like 4am and then having to go to work in like 4 hours. then... drive for 1.5hours to 2nd job and at 1:22am posting how sucks it is.

- and then, at around 2am, driving home for 1.5 hours (on 4 hours of sleep in 36 hours) and then... waking up at 8am to do it all over again.
