yeah but before there is a check cut they have to pass a threshold too. so if it never gets to that threshold then they never get their money! |

digital downloads don't involve production costs, so I've never heard of a threshold in such cases. And Beatport itself gets its share too. 50/50 of label income from your digital downloads is pretty common.
Keep in mind all sorts of things can interact with this such as remix costs, so in detail it's specific per contract. |
