Best John Digweed style?

| Wondering what people think is John Digweed's best style he's played. He started doing house and progressive trance, and then got into the darker progressive house sound in the early 00s and now is into more electro-house and miminal type stuff with some prog house still. I prefer when he was playing progressive trance and house music, in the mid and late 90s. His progressive house style was okay, but it got sleepy. And his new style...can't say it's all that great IMO. It's two genres that I am not super fond of, though some minimal is alright with me, just can't stand a set with only that style or both styles. |

| I loved their style when they were more dark prog-house in 00-02. Spinning things like "Chilling Moments" by Shmuel Flash, now he's kinda eh...transitions isn't really that exciting in my opinion. I barely really listen to a set by him or sasha much anymore, even though they're still my fav. DJ's, it's just the tunes aren't that interesting. |

| He is probably the best evolving dj. I like everything he does and has done and am glad that his style changes over time so what he plays doesn't get monotonous and old. What he is playing today is just awesome! |

You've got to remember his transitions show is just that, a radio show... it gives him the chance to throw out some experimental tunes now and then. In his live sets he mixes things up combining different genres.
I think he's pure gold when he plays dark prog combined with some techy sounds... just unreal. |

I like his deep prog house sets the most, my fav set of all time is Digweed at Fabric London 2005, 3 hours of some real spacey prog :)

Also his and Sasha's set from WMC this year... some really amazing tunes, from what Ive heard the first hour is all Digweed. |

| I saw Sasha and Digweed at one of their Delta Heavy events back in 2002 and it was quite awesome. At the time they were playing dark tribal-prog house type stuff, a little more upbeat than what Digweed was playing. But it looks like about two years ago, Digweed started to play more upbeat music, and although it was more upbeat, I don't like it as much as his older deep progressive styles. |
