| Well as long as it goes 300 hectares on a single tank of kerosene then it should be a good buy! |

I had a 5th gen and 4th gen Prelude before the GTI. My 4th gen v-tec was such a beast!!
Myra, I don't think getting a Mitsu is a good idea, I hear they have lots of problems down the line. Plus those are most likely to be stolen, well...in Southern California anyway :p
How about a nice, strong, reliable German car! |

Yup. Stick is the way to go - I love my 1999 lude.
7.5 years later and I'm only at 118,000 KMs with no major problems... Hell, I only had to replace my brake pads last week (for the first time).
I wouldn't buy Mitsubishi, I've always known them to have problems - but I know they're popular in the States. |

Don't get a Mitsubishi. Those things have so many electrical problems as well as other random problems.
Stick with Honda or Lexus (you can get an older Lexus ES 300 for under 10k if you look hard enough, and they're still worth it).
don't get a ing Ford Focus though. I have one and sure, they have great handling (I think so at least), but it's a Ford nonetheless. |

| I say AUDI... there certified preowned cards go through a 300 + point inspection and are all under 5ys old and under 60 k in miles. They even warrenty them limited of course up to 100k miles. You can get a nice one either tt or a4 for 12 to 14 grand maybe depending on the dealer. Plus they are great cars. If you dont like that i say maybe a used nissan VW or acura. Hell some 02 03 acura TLs down here in Fl ive see pretty cheap. |

yeah i'm worried insurance will be kind of expensive on a Mitsu. right now my insurance is only $75/month and that's for auto and renters insurance.
i wasn't aware that they were known for having problems. i've always thought of them as fairly reliable cars... but i also don't have much experience with them. i just think they look sweet, lol.
i'd totally buy another (newer) Accord because i love my current one so much. it's just getting too old. |
