Last night was the bomb. I met J13. That was defintley cool. G&D did a great job. I thought they were better this time compared to when I saw them in JAX last April. VIP was crowded, but it's all good. I like the layout of R&F. It's a tight little venue to see a show. Did anyone see the breakers at the end? There was a black kid who was in unbelievable at breaking. The dude was spinning on his head at one point. I thought that cool..... break dancing at a trancey/housey show.
All and all I had a good time, and it was nice to have G&D cap off 420. |

The breakers were pretty sick.. The vibe of the club all in all was great for Orlando.. Its cool to be around people who are into the same beats as you..
I was on the floor for the night.. VIP looked like it rocked a much better perspective of the the decks but you couldn't be the vibe on the floor.. All the way until the end... |

Floor was not that empty imo. And if all the "wannabes" weren't on the second floor, you would have had no room to dance. VIP was fine, lots of old skoolers made it out to support, good vibes on the second floor. Everyone was really cool that night.
And yes, Josh and Dave smoke cloves, not blunts when they perform. Whatever made you think it was a blunt is beyond me, it wasn't a Cypress Hill concert. The head promoter had to tell them a few times to "cup" their smokes because RnF is a non-smoking establishment. But they didn't care...
As for the "on point mixing" comment by RzO, whatever instrument is used, if you keep the crowd movin, happy, and into it the whole night... that's all that really counts. What is going to be done different on CDJ's Or MK's that we're all not aware of?
Almost forgot, they played U.N.A. remix.... perfect tune for the night... |

Non smoking establishment? Oops, I smoked all night.
I happen to know Dave to be somewhat of a pothead so I assumed he was smoking bud. It was 420 afterall. I wouldn't be suprized if those cloves had a little something special in them.
Do you not agree the upstairs crowd was mostly standing around? Was anyone dancing? I didn't see any dancing. Considering the size of the floor it was pretty empty.

that was part of my point
no disrespect to either of them, but they are edm popstars if u will, they are still going to play that and ttd at every show they do. sure they play a few fresh tracks, as it seems they opened with trentmoller's moan, my personal fave atm
the good thing about them is that they are helping to attract more people to edm, and for that im glad they do what they do, its just not my type of party anymore, not enough degenerates, lol |
