I hope so too but with everything shuting down left and right there aren't too many options left. |

I love Ferry dearly but by judging by the complaints in this thread
it doesnt seem like Pacha is improving at all. I won't continue to patronize a establishment like that, so no Ferry for me this time.

+1 - ty venue all around
too bad Danny "ing" Howells is there next week - but I wouldn't miss him because of the venue even if he were playing behind the dumpsters of KFC .. |

Well I haven't seen Digweed in about 4+ years and I have to say his set brought me back to the glory days of his residency at Twilo.
I arrived at the club around 12:00ish and by the time we settled in, MSTRKRFT started spinning. All in all, not my musical preference so I wasn't impressed. They dropped a few good tracks but (as previously mentioned) I also found them to be quite repetitive with build-ups that really didn't go anywhere, especially the last 20-30 minutes of their set- it was the same damn beat with no progression and to be honest I found people more interested in the dancers on the stage then their closing.
Onto Digweed- if there is anyone who could of brought my ass out of clubbing "retirement" he was the man who was going to do it. All I can say is  His deep, dark & dirty baselines evokes something inside of me; His set was *sublime* & I was in pure ecstasy. I am *so* happy I didn't miss it~
As far as the vibe in Pacha is concerned- disappointed as well. It was an absolute madhouse in there around 3:00- people pushing their way through and generally very rude. I heard one "excuse me" all night long and that was only after one meathead pushed this tiny chick into me and I was the only thing that stopped her from falling onto the floor. I found a spot on the staircase to dance for a bit in prime view of Diggers and was happy to not have mens' asses rubbing up on me or getting tossed around by the barage of people pushing through the crowd.
Around 5:30-6:00 the place cleared up and Digweed was still stellar. I couldn't of been any happier and the music was enough to make me forget about the lack of a vibe and how generally unfriendly the people were. |

Ya most of the nyc crowd is down right garbage. Everyone is to drugged out to relize there elbows are bumping into your chest. I actually like the set up at pacha I feel like im in a club. When I was at oaky earlier I felt like I was in an ice skating rink. |

@ GHB -
About the wallet checking....nothing new, they always checked my wallet when I went in there. Even went so far as asking me to remove my credit cards so they can look inside the slots. |
I think this was the first time that we've been there that I've had my wallet sorted through and we go there kind of frequently (and are planning to go again for Howells next week). Lust-E had to take his shoes off.
Their security also does a good job of cupping the balls. Kind of makes me think I should tip them afterwards.
Barosoap, on the other hand, didn't have anything in her hands even looked at. |

I'll see your ball-cupping and i'll raise you a feeling up underneath the bra. Life sure wasn't like this in Connecticut, poppa... |
