There are a few I kno. hehe. :D

But ya, bout the kiddy rave thing,.. We were all young once. I think its kewl that we still have Skills and Spundae. Without them, there would be nothing ilke the community and times we all share together out there. They have to learn somewhere, like we all did once. I actually know a few 18+ kids that would give some big name producers out there a run for their money. Pretty funny how that works..

Getting out and being with everyone out there is a release for me, and a break from the stupidness of the world. I think we all agree with that. What better time for us all to get together than to welcome Tiesto back to SF. All politics aside.

Ya, we should all meet up, LA and SFTAs. It would be cool to finally meet you all. Out here when SFTA's are together in a club or at a venue or Rave, it just feels a whole lot more fun.

Ill give anyone a ride to this that needs one. I know some of us dont have a car, and you guys can roll with me when I go. Rizen sometimes goes with me to venues, so it will be fun having more people come with.

O and for the record... I still am one of the biggest candykids around. lol

After reading some of the comments...I have mixed emotions about this, but has Tiesto really lost his appeal?

Some of my friends say he hasent really came up with anything good for a while.. one reason why they will avoid paying the price of going.

I agree with nerdgirl too, but know that we probably will all go regardless. Maybe we should all gather together like DaveT says. I think between the friends we all have together that would be fun. SF Massives dont come often.. and this has been needed.

One time a friend convinced me to go see Tiesto play live. I'm not a big fan of hard Trance in general, and even less of Tiesto in particular, but my friend was excited about it and wanted someone to go with him so I agreed.

Never have I wished for 4 hours of my life back like I wished for it that night. Even my friend was ready to leave before Tiesto was finished playing. The tunes were terrible by and large (and the few good songs were dropped in the entirely wrong places), the mixing was insipid, the crowd was the normal Tiesto crowd. Waste of an evening and $40 that I don't plan to repeat, except my friend and I got some good laughs from it.

This is just my opinion. I have NEVER heard a single Tiesto production that I didn't hate the sound of. Tiesto takes the "superstar DJ" please praise me I am God thing so far that it sickens me. The average Tiesto set is probably 70% either Tiesto's own productions or very tired out trance "classics" that Tiesto hasn't stopped playing since they were released 5 years ago. His mixing is uninspired and his sets don't progress. So to answer the question for myself: he never had appeal for me, and I don't understand his appeal to others.

The only reason I would ever set foot anywhere remotely near this is if we did get a Massive group of TA's together for it. And even then, I'd probably bail for a better party if I knew of one, unless there was someone amazing playing in the house/techno room.

I went to tiesto in concert twice in 2005, LA and Las Vegas. That was the first two times i saw Tiesto, and i admit it was amazing. It was harder than usual i would say, and at the time i thought he was a good dj. I knew that he did too much publications to bring himself to the God Dj status, but the concert was good, i recommend for everyone to give it a try on this one. Im not a big Tiesto fan, i can say im a 'Tiesto in concert' fan. I love psy trance so Tiesto sounds is far from psychadellic. Oh.. and i saw Tiesto after that in summer 2006 san diego... iT was TERRIBLE!!! so... i conclude... tiesto in concert is a GREAT EVENT... but tiesto in club... boo boo boo... too bad it didnt live up to my tiesto standards since i first saw him in concert... just dont mind the cheesy flying geishas and drummers and all that... =) we in the bay area should take this opportunity and experience tiesto in concert! :tongue3 :tongue3 :tongue3

I think what he's trying to say is that no people rolling around on the floor and balcony sucking on pacifers. We all have our own agendas. I know a lot of people who get messed up but not like the people who did at Popscile.
