nah, I'm usually a huge Shaq & Tenacious D fan.

:haha:

I actually found it pretty hard to come up with ty movies.. Was trying to think of some "ehhhh" movies and just couldn't conjure up anything.. so, had to go with some obvious ones.

Aww hell, Snatch is an ace movie.

Oh - add Shawshank Redemption to my recommendations.

1st was good. Second was horrible. Haven't bothered to see the 3rd.

Yeah, the second seemed more focused on killing off a bunch of people. I rented the third a couple weeks back but never got around to watching it.

I'm no horror buff, and, frankly, I usually don't like horror movies at all, but I loved the 1st one.

The 2nd one was atrocious, though. Hell, anything with the guy who played "Wrench" in The Italian Job is horrible. He might be the worst actor ever.

Speaking of horror. I bought Wolf Creek cause it had some kind of plug by Tarentino on the cover.. was only 9 bucks.

But Christ on a shikabob. What a horrible excuse for a film.

speaking of which, has anyone seen "Grindhouse"?

Nationwide release is this fri. the 6th.

I really don't understand the fascination with Tarantino. "Pulp Fiction" and "Resevoir Dogs" were great films, but he hasn't exactly produced that kind of quality consistently.

Like what? Kill Bill 1 was pretty fun, but not brilliant, nor was the second. Jackie Brown was relatively boring, "Dusk til Dawn" 'was borderline terrible.

I just don't get it.

Yeah, I'm with you RJT. I loved Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs was pretty damn good. But other than that, his films aren't that special.

True Romance is a gem, but he didn't direct it, and I really don't think it would've been as good of a film if he had.
