What does the world do if diplomacy fails with Iran?

What does the international community do in the event diplomacy fails with the Iranian regime?
1. Take military action now.
2. Take military action after diplomacy fails.
3. Appease Iran with the acceptance of their nuclear program.
4. Join Iran against Israel and retreat all coalition forces from Iraq. |

Sorry, but that wasn't the question. The question to be answered was, " What does the international community do in the event(KEY WORD) diplomacy fails with the Iranian regime?" |

i believe what will happen will be a variation on #3.
putting aside the fact there will be no other Western leader strong enough to use military action against Iran prior to Irans full Nuke armament once Bush is gone outside Israel, eventually Iran will have to put their experiment to the test, just like the Norks did this January. when that happens the world will readjust it's position based on the outcome and we will go from there.
ultimately, there will be a hybrid form of Greater Middle East M.A.D. doctrine with the US/UN and possibly Israeli missle defence shielding.
the trick is having an effective non-proliferation doctrine in place for the rest of the Middle East. again, the US will take the lead on that like we always do, but by God we will need help. |

but any way....
all avenues of diplomacy should be used. Have the world media report on every thing the West tried to do for Iran. Iran leaders are idiots, more than Bush.
But diplomacy should be used first, then strike them hard and make them regret ever thinking that some piss ant country led by Muslim Extremist can take on the WEST. |

I was gonna say to call the A-Team and let Hannibal et al sort out those pesky Iranians.
(sorry, I'm just happy that A-Team is still on tv here in Amsterdam lol)
Seriously though, I would like to see them push diplomacy to it's limits, though those limits are hard to define. |
