you know it was as close to a goal as could be. 13 seconds left in the third after the rangers iced the puck twice and i was pretty anxious to know what the hell was going on. my friend ran to the press room to watch the replays comes out and tells me its a goal so i prepared myself to hear the crowd flip the f*ck out. the ref is still on the phone with toronto then someone tells me to look up because someone is shaking their head. i look back at the ref and seconds later i see the no goal signal. that was just :crazy:, i guess we are taking it back to Buffalo...game six on sunday @ 2:00 (i think). Kelly that should be an NBC game. |

| the rangers!!!! that was a goal that crossed the line at the very end of the 3rd!! how with todays technology was there no other in camera angle that could have been seen? in bull |

To be called a goal you have to be able to see white between the puck and the line. No camera angle could show that because Lundqvists right pad blocks the puck as well as the side of the actual goal. In that situation an overhead view is best but none can show 100% the entire puck crossed the line. It very well could have gone in but without conclusive evidence it was not a goal. Also last game the Rangers didn't get a goal even though there was no distictive kicking motion. This is the playoffs and happens. |
