Aw, see I felt so sad at that part. The kid is only doing what his parents tell him - like any other good kid would do. It sucks that HE was the one who took the hit, and not one of his ing parents.

But at the end wasn't he preaching the same his parents were preaching? But ya you have a valid point, it's pretty much usually if not always the parents fault. I just don't see how no one has really done anything about this. Don't you get punished for ing with the American flag if you're an american citizen or whatever?

They don't seem to be getting any punishment at all, this isn't even a belief, they're pretty much showing the entire world all of this hatred and worst of all, hating upon the families who have lost their sons and daughters, ect in war and battle. It's ridiculous how the government doesn't really take a stand against this. It's one thing believing in something and holding it to yourself but then there is another picketing peoples funerals and the streets with hate.

yeah...biggest mistake WWII and Baby boomer generations made was acting like kids are just small adults.

Human brains dont finish forming until around 20 years old. Critical thinking techniques need to be taught along with everything else.

I'm all for free speech even if there are misguided people like this in the world, but I think what the patriarch and daughter is doing to their kids is abuse.

As much as I would love to see people beat the hell out of some of the adults with their own signs, it seems equally as wrong for any government to take such a radical anti-religious stance. This is what some of these people honestly, legitimately believe (though not all I suspect...) and as long as they are not hurting anyone except the minds of their own family members, there's not much that should forcibly be done about it.

One part the mom was quite right about was in the scene where someone threw something out of their car at one of their kids - that's just ing cowardly. I laughed a lot because of how ridiculous some of this is, but really, it's just honestly sad to see these people deprive themselves of so much in this world for no other reason than to do what other people tell them to do. They're not doing "God's bidding", they're doing what some hateful old **** in a bad suit tells them to think and to do just because he wants to overcompensate for the fact that he is sexually aroused by little boys. :x

Doesn't mean he understands any of it though. He's just regurgitating what's been forced upon him.

Luckily for those kids they ARE in public schools. They still have a chance to learn to think for themselves.

So I guess it means their parents aren't TOTALLY whacked out...somewhere deep down, that mother's conscience knows the real score. At least my idealist heart thinks so. :p

It is so sad that the one girl exclaims to the others "I said ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHO'S GOING TO MARRY US?" and then they all laugh, like it is some kind of funny punchline.

That has got to be the saddest thing I have ever watched. Those children have no idea what they are being brain washed into. It's horrible.

The guy is asking the on girl about marriage and falling in love, and she couldn't even talk about it. It must be awful being hated by everyone... and knowing it.

Seriously, it is a shame.

I love how agitated the elders get when they're posed any questions that challenge them to think objectively about their beliefs. Jokes.

My question is how did she pass the bar & get a law degree?

She generates no valid points & has not one spec of intelligence.

You're seriously questioning the type of people lawyers are? I'm not surprised at all. ;)

Didn't those two Australian guys have a go at these folks? I always forget the name of the show, but I remember one of them hitting on a member of the church and almost getting lynched :stongue:
