| I think the bottom line is some people are just flakes Jake. What they promise the first time you meet them is rarely what they truly mean. If this guy isn't showing the deserved effort, i.e. returning phone calls, cancelling but offering a legitimate reason and making a new appointment, you should just move on. Keep him on the backburner as a friend but don't give him the same effort until he does. |

That was probably some of the best advice I've seen in this thread. It's the truth and I need to recognize it when it happens instead of waiting for them to come back to me. I'll keep him on the backburner as a friend only fo sho. |
