Do you not need some kind of training first? Is it part of a GAP year?

You just need a degree. TEFL helps, but not essential.

in a year or so when Im 200 lbs and ripped im going over there to wear a wife beater and a cowboy hat and aviators and just be the American Giant wandering around doing whatever I want. Im going to practice deadlifting up to 150 lbs in front of me so I can pick them up.

its going to be aweeeeesome. I cant wait.

Hmm Maybe. I changed it once last year for a few days to Ian Curtis. It was around his birthday I think.

Ocean drive- good luck teaching to Japanese. They have a different learning style in my opinion and from my experience of teahcing them. They are very quiet and they like to be taught to. Sounds ok, but when you are teahcing them spoken English and they do not talk it gets frustrating. But Japanese men are one of my favourite nationalites to teach; the women do not talk enough. My second favourite is Colombians.

It'd be nice if you knew some Japanese before you went.

Culture shock will rock you.

Otherwise, I'm going to Mishima this summer. I'll be there for the entire month of June.

Omedatou!!!

Also check out Ageha if you're in Tokyo, fun club! Do you speak japanese at all? Have fun trying to learn to read again if not! Hah, it will seem really bad a first, but it gets better!

Here is a helpful site that has some basic stuff if you want to start:
www.jgram.org
If you want any other help send me a PM, I can refer you to a few more places if you like.

Everything is expensive. About $10 for a meal at McDonalds, etc. I would suggest you bring some of your own food.
