It's Official! Sander van Doorn is the Greatest DJ in the world!!!
The first thing that comes to mind right now is how I felt when I first saw Tiesto in 01!!
Sander, OMG man! Tune after tune I was totally your slave last night! I felt like I was high all night. The vibe that he brought with him and the absolute MAGIC this guy has on the decks really brought me back!
I knew we were in for a good night when 10 minutes into the night I already had some chicks phone number :haha: :haha:
The venue was HEAPS better than what I was expecting! It was actually perfect for SVD! The sound reallly really struggled unless you were on the floor closer to the front. It was amazing how much 10 steps forward made a difference. But everything sounded clean-as... especially Sander's mixing!! :eyes:
I remember Nada tellin me that he didn't even play this good at TE! And I totally believed it! I totally felt that there wasn't a single thing I woulda changed! As I'm sitting here writing this, I'm still shaking my head as to try to believe what just happened!
Pure Amazment!
I've been waiting years to see Sander live! He lived up to every expectation! I had no doubt in my mind that he would play an even average set. I didn't expect him to come only play his tracks either... THAT MAN CAME TO PLAY!!!
I found myself front row centre crammed between 2 large speakers for a good chunk of time. From there I handed Sander my phone.. where I messeged him asking if I can buy him a beer... he laughs and picks up and shows me the 6 pack of Heineken he brought with him :haha: :haha: :haha:
Jenn, you always give the party that extra fun, can't wait to hang out again! Funky Crew, you rock, you got some dancin shoes I like to have around mine! Exstasie, you too bro, nice meeting you guys. Stefan... you make me proud bro! Hardcore through and through mate. Jay, Geli, and everyone else who could'nt leave that dancefloor either... this was a night too remember!!! There's a few more in there too.. I'm sorry if I don't mention everyone either... or this review could go on for ages! :D

Don't mind if I take some credit for myself either for starting the San-der chant at the end, so thanks for joining in :tongue2 (damn I can be a loud ****** sometimes.. but only Geli wishes she'd find that out ;);) :haha: :toothless )
My main goal last night was to have a beer with Sander. I thought if there's 1 time I'm going to get a chance to do it, it woulda been last night! But dammit it all, Sander's not around early enough for that, and he gets mobbed at the end by everyone. Ah well, one day it'll happen. I got so much respect for that guy!! He does/doing so much for the world of trance and EDM. It makes me proud that I'm still not over my love for trance and I can fully appreciate what people like Sander do to contribute!
I'll post up my pics and vids later... and probably another, lengthy review :p
