actually, you're supposed to yell at someone, in particular, and tell that person to help you. There was some study done a while back that found that to be far more successful. It was sparked by an incident that took place in New York City about 30 years ago, in which a woman was raped and killed out in the open, and nobody saved her, despite her screams, because they all just figured someone else would. |

hmm... that's an advice much better than mine. I know there's a psychological phenomenon related to this, but I just can't find the article :( |
