Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

I just wish I would have been the brains behind who ever wrote them.
The first one I remember reading somewhere a few years ago but I don't remember exactly where. I've just always remembered it.
The second one was told to us at our grade 11 graduation by the....principal I think.
